Review: Designer clothing Online retailer.

Mush Kids was formed in 2008 and is a UK based, online retailer, offering designer clothing and accessories for children from birth to 10 years of age. I first came across their website ( back in October and was very impressed.

The website itself is visually, very inviting. The logo is modern and a fitting design for a children’s designer clothing website.

Accessing the site from my iPhone (which is how I tend to shop these days, with so little time on my hands!) was easy and simple to use.

By clicking on the three bars, in the left hand corner, you obtain a drop down menu, as shown (in part) below:

From here, you are able to select your chosen category.

By selecting the ‘Brands’ page, you are given a list of the designers; from Miss Sixty, Plain Lazy to, my personal favourite, Lily and Sid.
Standard delivery is £4.95 or FREE if you spend £30 or more.

The products always appear before a white background, which makes them clear to see. If you click on a selected product, you are given several viewing options;  full garment, close up of garment and a picture of a child wearing the garment. This is wonderful, as this covers the initial look, the closer look and the visualising it on your child, just as you would, when shopping within a store.

Each garment also includes a product description and price. I have to say, as this point, that I was very impressed with the sale. £12 for the above, adorable, quality designer shirt, is a bargain!

I was drawn to the Lily and Sid range, and chose to purchase the Lily & Sid Ra Ra Hem Dress for my 4 year old daughter the Lily & Sid Woodcutter checked shirt, for my incredibly trendy Nephew!

Checkout was simple and I purchased my items within a matter of minutes. I also signed up for their Newletters, and I’m so glad I did. I’m by no means inundated with emails, but I have been sent some amazing offer codes, such as 30% off for Black Friday.

I received a confirmation email, along with my order number, shortly after purchase, followed, a day later, by a despatch email. My order arrived two days later. My order arrived, wrapped in sliver paper with a Mush Kids sticker:

As you can see below, the website picture is a true likeness to the garment, which is always a worry when you buy online. The quality of both items is also there and I can honestly say, my Nephew, my Sister, my daughter and and I, love them!

My only negative comment, would be for the small amount of choice available in some categories. Unfortunately there are no products under the category ‘jackets & coats’ for Boys or Girls and no products under the category ‘Boys T-shirts and Tops,’ which is a shame, but the products which are available, are absolutely gorgeous.

I no longer have any small babies ( *sad moment* they grow up far too quickly!), but there really are some fabulous baby items, including sleepbags.

I will definitely be purchasing from Mush Kids again, as I can not fault the service or the products.

Please Note: Having ‘followed’ Mush Kids on Twitter, after viewing their website, I was asked if I would like to write a review and receive a discount code, in order to purchase some items. This offer has in no way affected my review of All comments and opinions remain my own.
